For the seventeenth year the picturesque town of Beechworth will host the best Celtic event in held Victoria. The weekend of November 9-11, 2012 promises to present the most diverse celebration of Celtic music and culture.
The three day festival will showcase many bands and artists from around Australia in a series of concerts and workshops. Historic Beechworth will celebrate all things Celtic, with a full program of live music, theatre, dancing, comedy, pipe bands and a street parade. The Celtic Festival is a diverse event with something to offer every age group.
We look forward to building on the success of the 2010 & 2011 events. This year the festival will present Sibin, The Go Set, Humbug, The Colonials, Highlander, Saoirse, Aniar, Zeptepi, Between The Wars, Miles To Go Trio and the always well received Bhan Tre. The event will continue to host a range of traditional Scottish pipes that are enjoyed by all throughout town streets.
